The 1st Maine Sharpshooters attends reenactments as a part of the American Civil War Association. These events vary from full public battle events Living History events. These events take place all over California as far South as Fresno and as North as Sonoma County. Here you will find information and summaries of each event. The exact dates change yearly but the structure of events remain the same.
These events typically are one weekend a month with participating reenacters arriving in the afternoon or evening on Friday and departing mid Sunday. Events typically consists of 3-5 battles lasting around a hour and a half each.
